CATA has agreements with several local area apartment complexes that allow their tenants to receive a special bus pass that is valid for free access to the CENTRE LINE route(s) that serve those complexes.  Because so many new tenants move into these complexes over a period of just a few days every August, CATA distributes either COMPLIMENTARY RIDE TICKETS or TEMPORARY PASSES to each of  the complexes to allow tenants immediate access to the service until they can get their permanent new bus pass.

This time of year, to get your permanent pass you must secure an Apartment Pass Authorization Form from your rental office and bring both the white and yellow copies of that completed form, signed by your rental office, along with to one form of photo ID (driver's license, PSU ID, etc.)of the CATA offices. It will only take a few minutes then to process your pass which can then be used immediately.
